23/01/2009 - Delaying the introduction of emissions trading to prevent further job losses in the mining sector would be economically irresponsible, Climate Change Minister Penny Wong says.
The Nationals on Wednesday called on the federal government to reconsider the timing of emissions trading, saying the 2010 introduction would mean large employers had to pay yet another tax.
