SNIPPET: The Department of Climate Change today awarded a $600,000 contract for the supply of Australia's national emissions registry to internationally-experienced firm Perrin Quarles Associates (PQA). The contract is for the supply of a Kyoto-compliant registry and is the first phase of an ongoing exercise to establish the registry that will underpin the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme.
